Hours: 38 hrs per week, Mon to Friday 09:00 to 17:00 with occasional flexibility

No shift or weekend working

Heat Trace Limited are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team working at our site in Helsby. Start date would be immediate, and the role will be permanent.

Heat Trace is a manufacturing and engineering company with our headquarters and main manufacturing unit in Helsby Cheshire, we also have two manufacturing facilities at Bredbury, Stockport. The prime activity of the business is the manufacture of highly technical heating cables for use predominantly in the oil and gas and advanced processing industries.

The Role:

The role will be varied across the warehouse function, supporting despatch, stock control, receiving orders, picking and packing of orders. This busy role requires concentration, motivation and energy; everybody works under pressure to achieve our deadlines. It will involve teamwork within the warehouse and wider production team, so you need to have good communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Pack and pick orders for shipment
  • Follow company guidelines regarding packaging with high attention to detail
  • Performing warehouse operations in accordance with time, quality and quantity targets
  • Use of materials, including hand tools / label printers and PC scanning systems
  • Quality control of processed stock / packaged items, ensuring it meets company standards for customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean work area
